Kentucky Life Sciences Council Releases Statement Regarding The Hill and Transparency-Rx PBM Reform Panel:

​Today, Kentucky’s Congressman James Comer joined a panel presented by The Hill and Transparency-Rx to address how the big PBMs’ lack of transparency, vertical integration in the market, and clear role in creating high drug costs represent a direct call to action for Congress to pass comprehensive PBM reform. Cong. Comer has been a true leader of PBM reform in Washington D.C. and the Kentucky Life Sciences Council applauds his commitment to holding PBMs accountable for their anti-competitive business practices that leave patients, providers and taxpayers paying more for the care they need. Under his leadership, we are hopeful Congress will finally and quickly bring real reform legislation to passage.
